About

I love Jesus and words and coffee and summer nights. I'm a South Carolinian by birth, but I dream of a Tennessee mountain home. I talk like a southerner, but I've always loved Australian accents. I'm an introvert, but I love people. I love dressing up, but I hate wearing shoes. I'm a sinner, but despite that Jesus died for me.

I believe that words are one of the closest things to magic. They can take you anywhere, make you anything you want to be. Through words, I've lived in castles and sailed on ships and fallen in love. Through words I've learned that Jesus loves me and that we all have a purpose. Through words I've learned that life isn't always easy, but it is always worth it.

So, what'd'ya say? Will you join me on this journey? (I'll warn you, sometimes I'm silly and sometimes I write in all caps and sometimes I make bad jokes.) You don't have to write the words -- I'll take care of that. But will you read them? If you're saying yes, then you're in the right place. Hop on board; this journey is going to be totally rad.

    2. Sorry for getting back to you so late; forgot I commented here >_< haha, anyway, basically I'd take the code for your blog button and put it on my "button swap" page on my blog, and you'd grab my code from my blog and put it wherever you want! that way we can direct people to each other's blogs ^^

  2. You know, I wish I could meet you in real life. I wish we could be friends. Because you sound awesome. And you love Jesus so much, and just starting with that, we have something in common, and I need more people around me that love Him as much as you do.

Never stop writing, you have talent and you have wisdom.

    1. Hey, maybe someday... you never know :)
And thank you! You literally just made my day. I never really know how to respond to compliments, but I guess I should say that without Jesus I'm nothing. He's the reason I write and the reason I breathe. Hopefully I'll make a career out of this someday.

Have a blessed day, Tane! It was so nice to "meet" you!

    1. Hey, Anna Grace! All the design aspects are done by CeCe over at http://cece-designs.blogspot.com. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about creating a button :( But if you go to her site and fill out a form, she'll get back to you pretty quick, and everything's free :)

      Love ya!

  8. Hello Mary!
I'm excited to have found your blog! =D
I'm Angela. I live in the beautiful rolling hills of Tennessee; and to me, they are the footstool of Yahweh the Father, and show His beauty and grace. :) I am a Southerner, and a country ranch girl- and if I may add, horses often listen better than people. ;)
Yahweh is Amazing- He has made each of us as we are, and though we are our own, we are nothing without the Lord. This life is such a gift- amazing, vibrant, crazy, raging. But we belong to God, and so what do we have to fear?
Nice to meet you, Mary. YHVH bless!

Living in Tennessee must be a dream! I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm slightly jealous :)
